【摘要】:Thisguideoutlinesgeneralproceduresandprecautionsfortheapplicationoffullyadheredhot-appliedbuilt-upreinforcedwaterproofingsystems.Thisguideisnotallinclusiveandisintendedonlytosupplementdetailedinstructionsfromdesigners,andtherecommendationsofmanufacturers.Manufacturersofsomeofthesystemsaddressedbythisguiderequireproprietaryproductsandspecialproceduresnotdescribedinthisguide.Manufacturers''recommendationsshouldthereforebeconsideredintheapplicationofthisguide.Fordesignguidelines,consultGuideC981.1.1Thisguidecoverstheminimuminstallationrecommendationsforfullyadhered,hot-appliedreinforcedwaterproofingsystemsonverticalandlow-slope(plazadeck)surfaces.1.2Forthepurposeofthisguide,thesubstrateisassumedtobeconcreteormasonry,structurallysound,abletoaccepttheweightofanticipatedloads,andmeetsthelocalbuildingcoderequirements.Similarly,allcomponentsofthewaterproofingsystemareassumedtocomplywithanyfederal,state,andlocalenvironmentalregulationsthatmaybeineffectatthetimeofinstallation.Expansionjoints,insulation,drainagelayers,andoverburdenarebeyondthescopeofthisguide.1.3ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.1.4Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatoryrequirementspriortouse.
