【摘要】:ThispartofIEC60793listsandgivesguidanceontheuseofdocumentsgivingtheuniformrequirementsformeasuringandtestingopticalfibres,therebyassistingintheinspectionoffibresandcablesforcommercial(mostlytelecommunications)purposes.TheindividualmeasurementandtestmethodsarecontainedinthedifferentpartsoftheIEC60793series.TheyareidentifiedasIEC60793-1-X,where"X"isanassignedsub-partnumber,indicatingitsaffiliationtoIEC60793-1.Ingeneral,measurementsandtestsmethodsapplytoallclassAmultimodefibresandClassBsingle-modeopticalfibrescoveredbytheIEC60793-2series,althoughtheremaybeexceptions.Clause1ofeachpartofIEC60793containsthescopeforeachparticularattribute.
